The best-preserved monument from antiquity. The square is small and chaotic during the day — but before sunrise, with the illuminated facade, it becomes a cinematic stage.
When to shoot
Night session 04:00–05:00 in summer, 06:00–07:00 in other seasons — always before first light. Pantheon during the day: not recommended — too many people in the square, monument in shadow until mid-morning.
The experience
The Pantheon before sunrise is our best-kept secret. Daytime is too crowded; in the hours before first light, the square is essentially empty, the facade turns cream under the streetlamps, and every shot looks like a magazine cover. We use portable lights to illuminate the dress without flattening the facade.
